About the Chef

Chef/owner Chris Simard's career has literally gone from farm to table.  After starting his own five acre farm in Hinesburg, VT, Simard took to the streets with a refurbished 1968 Aarow Duplex camper-turned-food truck and became the Lazy Farmer catering service that then set him on a path to open a much-needed farm to table restaurant in Essex Jct, VT.  Simard is currently living in Boston and not booking any catering for 2021/2022.
